10,000 miles in an Electric Vehicle - a talk by Chris Ramsey

EV Road Trip - Plug In Adventures

Come and meet Plug In Adventurer, Chris Ramsey, who will be talking about his experience of driving from Edinburgh to Monte Carlo in 60 hours, taking part in the 10,000 mile Mongol Rally, and going from Land's End to John O'Groats - all in an EV! 

Drop in for free and impartial advice from Home Energy Scotland advisors on the benefits of driving an EV, how to charge them, and the loans available to buy one.

Thursday 21 June 2018, 10am - 2pm, Clean Air Day, George Street, Glasgow

Home Energy Scotland is joining Glasgow City Council and Environmental Protection Scotland to enjoy lots of exciting events and activities to mark a day dedicated to improving air quality. Clean Air Day aims to encourage people across Scotland to leave their cars at home, cycle their children to school, walk or get a bus or train to work.

Home Energy Scotland advisors will be helping people find out how they can make environmentally friendly energy choices at home and on the road by switching to an electric vehicle or to a renewable source of energy.

Saving Water in Buchan? Really?

Home Energy Scotland is working in partnership with Scottish Water to help people who live and work in Buchan use water wisely. Making small changes to your everyday behaviour can have a big impact, so to help we are giving free water efficiency packs* to residents in Buchan. The pack includes a few gadgets which can help you use water wisely, save energy and keep your energy bills down.

Strathaven Home Energy Fayre

Saturday 23 June, 10am - 3pm, The Crib Community Coffee House, 2 Thomson Street, Strathaven, ML10 6JZ

Join Home Energy Scotland in Strathaven at the Home Energy Fayre. Come along and speak to an advisor for free impartial energy saving advice and information about available funding, specialist support for switching to renewables, saving water and greener travel.

There will be something for everyone and plenty of activities for the kids, including face painting, balloon modelling and an exciting prize draw. You will also have the chance to meet Doug the Caterpillar and have your picture taken with him! 



Webinars are a great interactive way to learn more about an area that interests you.

Usually done as a discussion or presentation, webinars take place on the internet in real time, allowing you to see and hear the presenter.
